The auto trucks we own are provided with installations and ADR licenses (conformity certificates issued by the Romanian Auto Registry for the type of ADR transportation of goods, supplies and equipment needed for road vehicle according to ADR, billboards and signage hazard labels, etc.) and the drivers hold training certificates issued by the Ministry of Transport, the Romanian Road Authority for the transport of dangerous goods.
ADR dangerous goods
Goods considered dangerous – according to the ADR convention need special attention both on packaging to be dispatched and in preparing transport documents to ensure maximum safety and legality in their delivery operation.
For this type of goods, Vamada provides ADR transportation services with approved means of transport and ADR accredited drivers.
Dangerous goods can be in solid or liquid form – depending on this feature you can choose between normal ADR transport trucks or ADR tankers.
Obligations of drivers carrying dangerous ADR goods The driver of the vehicle is prohibited to carry goods or hazardous products:
- – to cause shocks to the vehicle while driving it;
- – to smoke while driving or light a stopping or stationary fire at a distance lower than 50 m from the vehicle;
- – to leave the vehicle or the cargo without his supervision, or the supervision of his attendant or any other person;
- – to tow a vehicle having a flat tire;
- – to follow other routes or stay in places other than those set;
- – to allow other persons to be present in the vehicle, except for the other driver, his companions or those who upload or download the shipped goods or products;
- – to keep in the vehicle fuel reserves in packages that are not specifically made for this purpose
Dangerous goods are these substances which by their nature can produce chemical-physical personal injury, environmental damages, and so on. According to ADR, dangerous classes of goods are the following:
